Our Brand Story

1990The story of Sian Flowers began at Winchester Farm in Karen, Nairobi. It was here that the foundation was laid for what would become a journey of growth, innovation, and impact. With a clear vision to produce high-quality roses for export, the company quickly grew into a respected name in the floriculture industry.

Our Growth Journey

1995

Agriflora Kenya Ltd

Established in Njoro, Kenya, our first farm laid the foundation for what would become Sian Flowers. Starting with a focus on high-quality roses for export.

1997

Equator Flowers

Our second farm was established in Eldoret, taking advantage of the region's ideal climate for flower cultivation and expanding our production capacity.

2008

Maasai Flowers

Located in Kitengela, this farm further diversified our growing regions, allowing us to cultivate different varieties and strengthen our market position.

2018

Sololo Agriculture

Our newest addition near Eldoret completed our network of farms, strategically positioned to harness Kenya's diverse climates and optimize production.

Expansion Across Kenya

As the years unfolded, Sian expanded, establishing Equator Flowers in Eldoret in 1997, Maasai Flowers in Kitengela-2008, and later Sololo Agriculture near Eldoret in 2018.

Each farm is uniquely positioned to harness Kenya's diverse climates. Together, these four farms formed a formidable group committed to delivering excellence in cut flower production.

2018Sian Roses rebranded to Sian Flowers, marking a bold new chapter that reflected our broadened product range and a more inclusive identity.

No longer just about roses, we have evolved into a grower of spray roses, garden varieties, summer flowers, and greeneries, tailored to the dynamic tastes of our international markets. Our rebrand wasn't just a name change — it symbolized a fresh commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer connection.

Industry Recognition

Today, Sian is Kenya's largest grower of spray roses, with over 70 hectares under production. Our dedication to variety development and excellence has led to our recognition as a key player in the global spray rose segment.

Being proud members of the World of Spray Roses Alliance, has further cemented our position as industry leaders.

But flowers are just the beginning. At Sian, we believe in growing responsibly. Our farms embrace eco-friendly practices such as hydroponic irrigation, biological pest control (IPM), water recycling, and clean energy initiatives including solarization and sea freight logistics to reduce our carbon footprint.
